English Communication Skills Programme
Speak with confidence.
Already know the basics? ECSP turns what you know into fluent conversation. Six levels of listening and speaking, with targeted grammar and vocabulary — so you speak up with less hesitation.

Hear it. Answer it. Keep it going.
Every class is built on turns of conversation — listening closely, answering, asking back and keeping the exchange moving. In a group of five to ten, you speak in every class.
An example of a B1 conversation an ECSP class practises.
- Opening
“So, how was your weekend?”
- Giving an opinion
“Great — we tried the new night market. Honestly, it's better than the old one.”
- Asking back
“Really? What makes it better?”
- Adding a 'but'
“The food, mostly. Although it gets really crowded after eight.”
- Making a suggestion
“Then let's go early on Friday — say, six?”
- Agreeing a plan
“Six works. I'll bring my cousin, she loves satay!”
Every stage, a longer conversation.
Six levels in three stages. Each level is one month — 20 class days, two hours a day. The placement test finds where you start; study as many levels as you need.

Who is ECSP for?+
Anyone who already knows the basics and wants to turn them into fluent conversation. Listening and speaking are at the core, with the grammar and vocabulary that support them — so you speak up with less hesitation.
How is it different from General English?+
General English builds all four skills — listening, speaking, reading and writing — for everyday life and work, three hours a day from A1. ECSP concentrates on listening and speaking, two hours a day from A2.
I am a complete beginner. Can I join?+
ECSP starts at A2, so you need the basics first. General English starts at A1 — take the free placement test and we will tell you where you fit.
Can I study part-time?+
Yes, depending on group size. Full-time is two hours a day, Monday to Friday; part-time schedules and intake days are set by the size of the group.
What time are the classes?+
Choose one session, Monday to Friday: mornings 9:00 am – 11:00 am or afternoons 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Each level is one month — 20 class days, two hours a day.
How big are the classes?+
Five to ten students per group, so everyone gets plenty of speaking time.
Do I need a placement test first?+
Yes, and it is free. About 25 minutes online, then a one-to-one consultation finds the right level.
What is included?+
Printed course materials, and an hour of guided independent learning each day on top of the two hours of class.
Can I study online?+
No — ECSP is face-to-face, at our centre in Bukit Bintang.
What does ECSP cost?+
Ask us and we will quote your route. Each level runs one month and there are six, but you start where the placement test puts you — so most students pay for fewer than six.
