Every answer follows Malaysia's entry rules (MQA) and what our partner universities publish, with the sources linked.
12 years of school → you may enter a bachelor's degree.
10–11 years → a foundation year, certificate or diploma first.
MQA, Entry Qualifications for International Student (18 Dec 2025)
Your certificate counts as twelve years of school, so Malaysian rules let you enter a degree directly. Each university and programme still sets its own grades — below them, a foundation year is the way in.
MQA lists the senior high graduation certificate for direct degree entry. Universities may also ask for your Gaokao result, and set their own grade line per programme.

Not every university runs one for international students — UM's is for Malaysians only. We place you on one that takes you.
MQA asks international students for CEFR B1 at least, and a higher B1 for a degree — shown with IELTS, MUET, TOEFL or PTE. Our courses get you there; you still sit the test.
