Do you know that English is widely spoken in Malaysia? This is because it is our country’s second language. So, what are the benefits of learning English in Malaysia?

  • Affordability

Malaysia offers one of the more affordable fees for upskilling your English language proficiency. As you may already know, learning English in a native-speaking country could very easily set you back USD$2,745 (RM11,529) for a 3-week study. Premium Language Centre offers a competitive fee of only USD$3,466 (RM15,600) for a 6-month Intensive English Programme. So, if you can save tens of thousands, why not do that instead?

  • Diversity

Malaysia, popularly known as “a place like no other”, is a melting pot. With a combination of rich Malay, Chinese, Indian, Orang Asli, and international cultures, our food and lifestyles are heavily integrated.

If you are a foodie, Malaysia is certainly a food haven. The main dishes include Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kerabu, Char Kuey Teow, Char Mee, Roti Canai, Briyani, and more. As for desserts, we’ve got the mouth-watering Ais Batu Kacang (ABC), Kuih Nyonya, and the king of all fruits – Durian!

Aside from our delicious food, Malaysians also celebrate an array of festivities ranging from Chinese New Year to Hari Raya, Gawai to Deepavali, and more. These are the times you get to experience how Malaysians live, respect, and value each others’ cultures and traditions. Can you imagine learning English in Malaysia and experiencing a new level of multiculturalism?

  • Travels

Another reason you should study in Malaysia is that there are many tourist destinations. Our vacation spots vary depending on what you like. For instance, if you would like to  experience the chilly weather, you can always head up to Genting or Cameron Highlands. There are a plethora of things to do like sightseeing at the BOH tea plantation, enjoying strawberry plucking at the orchards, horse-riding, or simply go on the thrilling rides at the theme parks.

If you love suntanning and wish to be one with the sea, you could hop on a plane to Langkawi or take a boat ride to Pulau Pangkor. Our sandy beaches are limitless, where you could immerse yourself in the sea, play beach volleyball, snorkel, and experience underwater sea life. Furthermore, if you are somewhat of a historian, Malacca is a city worth exploring. If you are dying to know more, come to Malaysia to study at Premium Language Centre and create these adventures yourself.
